The Birdies and Pars Social Golf Club is based in Brisbane with the majority of Members living in the surrounding suburbs.  Founded more than 45 years ago by a group of family members that played occasionally at Howeston Golf Course.  We still operate for the enjoyment of our Members allowing golfers of any level to play on a variety of courses in South East Queensland.

We play Sunday mornings with tee times between 6am and 8am.  We use various formats and competitions throughout the year to ensure a good mix of players and plenty of opportunity to meet other Members.  We have a growing number of members and continue to welcome new men, women and juniors to the Club.

All Members get a handicap which is maintained by the Club Captain or you can bring your own GolfLink number.  As a registered GolfLink club we are able to maintain and update your scoring history through our system.  This gives every golfer an equal opportunity of winning on the day.  Our Website provides details of our full season schedule.  With the assistance of our generous Sponsors and fundraising activities throughout the year, playing golf with us is very affordable - unless noted, golf with us starts around $60 per round.  This not only covers your game on the day, but it also funds our all-expense paid trip away that is held at the end of each season.

We are a Club that has embraced technology by allowing Members to use smartphone apps for their round, our live leader-board app (Golf GameBook) for each event and social media via our BPGC App for communication with other members. While not the biggest Social Club in Brisbane, we enjoy friendly competition, creating friendships and having fun together playing the great game of golf.
